The Electrical Apprenticeship Certificate II program meets the related apprenticeship training requirements for the State of Wyoming, Department of Fire Prevention & Electrical Safety.

The Electrical Apprenticeship Certificate II program meets the related apprenticeship training requirements for the State of Wyoming, Department of Fire Prevention & Electrical Safety. In order to earn this certificate, students must complete all eight required courses in the series. This program provides fundamental instruction in electrical principals, training in the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), and prepares students to take the Licensed Journeyman Electrical test.

Approximate costs for electrical apprenticeship program: E.g. tuition and fess (in-state) are $160 per credit hour plus a $25 course fee = $185.

The following are based on three credit course plus course fee:

  • In-State: $505
  • WUE: $664
  • Out-of-State: $1,135
  • Textbooks: $79.95 Rent, $99.95 Buy (purchased fall semester only)
  • NEC Book: $80 Rent, $130 Buy (purchased once)
